Job Description

The Guest Service Agent is responsible for answering incoming calls and directing appropriately.

• Documenting guest information on the reservation which may include in- house requests, billing inquiries and room maintenance calls
• Providing guests with various types of information regarding the property and its amenities/programs
• Listening and document information accurately while on calls
• Responding positively in difficult situations in a high call volume environment
• Maintaining a “can do” attitude and meeting individual and quality standards to achieve departmental/company performance goals

Job Requirements

 

• Flexibility and ability to commit to business needs, including but not limited to, overtime and/or shift changes
• Ability to type a minimum of 30 w.p.m. with computer skills in Microsoft Word
• Minimum one (1) year Front Office and/or customer service/ACD Call Center experience required
• Opera trained preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Language skills additional to English desired but not required
