Job Description

The Assistant Manager-Rooms Control acts as a liaison between Front Desk(s), Housekeeping floor manager(s) and perform various duties to ensure all pre-assigned/VIP rooms/suites queues are prioritized and processed in a timely manner.

• Managing the daily rooms inventory due for housekeeping service
• Managing the open rooms/sections and monitoring the cleaning pace as well as out-of-order and out-of-service rooms in conjunction with the Front Desk
• Coordinating the Preventive Maintenance schedule for rooms
• Auditing early check outs, extended stays, pre-registered, and no-show rooms against the housekeeping task sheets

Job Requirements

Minimum of two years of Front Desk Rooms Controller experience in a luxury resort
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication and telephone etiquette skills
• Must be proficient with Opera, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access database applications
• High school diploma or equivalent
