Job Description


This position is responsible for assisting in creating a smooth operating department by overseeing the cleanliness of all public areas. 

• Spending up to 95% of their time on the floor overseeing the cleanliness of all areas of the property by monitoring job tasks and employee performance, ensuring compliance of all Hotel and Department Policies, Procedures and Service Standards, coaching, developing and motivating staff. 
• Opening and closing times clocks for staff. 
• Updating and posting daily sign in sheets as needed.
• Adjusting daily shift schedules, radio, key and equipment log sheets as needed.
• Handing out keys, radios and equipment.
• Assisting in all daily pre-shifts.
• Ensuring special projects and cleaning requests are completed and Shift Managers are notified of status.
• Conducting performance reviews as assigned by Shift Manager.
• Monitor all staff for safety, policy and performance accountability.
• Coordinating with Managers on all disciplinary actions.
• Consistently walking and checking all assigned areas of responsibility at both Wynn or Encore properties to ensure 5 Star cleaning standards are met and operations run smoothly.
• Ensuring proper placement and removal of sign stanchions.
• Attending bi-weekly Shift Manager meetings.

Job Requirements


• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent English language skills
• Additional language skills preferred
• Willingness to remain positive and effective during high-stress periods
• Minimum of three years large resort experience preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Must be 21 years of age and above.
