Job Description

Convention Services coordinates all aspects of upcoming convention events after the contracting processes. The Convention Services Department is the meeting planner’s liaison to all departments related to their upcoming event.

• Handle all group details relating to the Group Resume and Meeting Event Orders.
• Ensure contract specifications are met prior to the event as well as on-site.
• Conduct Pre Convention Meetings
• Organize the Reservation Process
• Insure that payment guidelines are adhered to
• Supervise the duties of the Convention Services Coordinator

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally
• Must have at least two-three years experience in the hotel industry.
• Experience in hotel management preferred.
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
