Job Description

The HCM / ERP Application Developer is a key resource in our Back-of-House Applications team. This resource will be doing custom development in PeopleSoft HCM and Finance to extend the capabilities of our software investment by creating innovative solutions to streamline business processes.

The Application Developer role is critical to designing, developing, and implementing PeopleSoft HR and Finance software enhancements for all of Wynn properties worldwide; the solutions this role will deliver streamline business processes, create an integrated environment across our application landscape, and bridge gaps in the delivered software to meet the needs of our business users. This position reports to the Executive Director of Back of House Applications and plays a valuable role in enterprise-wide application development efforts for Wynn Resorts.

As the Application Developer your role will include:

Job Responsibilities:

*Assists with the design, development, and implementation of custom applications in PeopleSoft HCM and Finance using PeopleTools development platform

*Maintains emphasis on on-time business delivery, performance, availability, scalability, security, maintainability, reliability, ease of configuration and integration.

*Partners with the Application & Database Architecture Leads to implement best-of-breed solutions that support key business objectives.

*Adheres to standards, best practices, product development processes, technical design practices, and quality assurance.

*Assists in creation and review of Development Project plans to determine project requirements and schedule Development Team project deliverables, milestones and required tasks.

*Executes coding assignments, tasks and responsibilities with high standards and attention to timeline.

*Provide status updates to project personnel, and modify schedules or plans as required

*Adheres to standards and procedures set by Back-of-House Applications team for reporting and documentation efforts.

*Respond to requests for changes from original specifications.

*Assist in unit testing.

*Assist peer code review process and join code reviews at various stages in the development process.

*Follow team process to enter and track implementation information including work items, tasks and issue management in Team Foundation Server.

*Follow team processes for build releases to Quality Management.

*Supports production environment by resolving production issues through root-cause analysis and providing appropriate and timely resolutions.

Job Requirements

*Basic functional understanding of PeopleSoft HRMS 9.2, Financials 9.2 and Interaction Hub 9.1 applications.

*Strong development experience of PeopleCode, SQL, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, and Application Packages.

*Some functional experience with PeopleSoft Finance, PeopleSoft Core HR, and Employee and Manager Self Service.

*Skill in conceptualizing creative solutions, as well as documenting them.

*Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.

*Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations.

*Ability to develop and deliver on tight project timelines.

*Ability to blend creative, problem-solving and technical skills for refining existing theories or developing new system approaches to seize opportunities and sustain business.

*Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus.

*Five years of PeopleSoft development or consulting experience.

*Two or more years of experience developing applications using relationship databases; SQL Server preferred.

*Knowledge of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools toolset (8.5+)

*Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS desired.

*Must have at least 5 years developing PeopleSoft applications.

*Must be 21 years of age or older.
