Department overview:

The Wynn Resorts, Limited Corporate Finance department is responsible for corporate accounting and financial reporting, taxation, and stock-based compensation plan administration.

Candidate profile:

The Executive Assistant, Corporate Finance is committed to supporting the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Finance Department, including providing administrative, clerical, organizational and other support to its executives (including the Chief Accounting Officer, VP of Corporate Taxation, and VP of Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting).   

Job description:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for providing personal administrative support to the department’s executives.
  • Perform general clerical duties to include photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Answer the telephone and confirm appointments with knowledge of telephone etiquette.
  • Organize and manage calendars and meeting invites.
  • Coordinate and set up travel arrangements as needed.
  • Set up and coordinate meetings and conferences.
  • Create, transcribe, and distribute meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Handles confidential files, materials, correspondence, etc.
  • Ensures office supplies are in adequate stock to support the general operations of the department.
  • Checks and processes expense reports.
  • Communicates with other departments’ executives, executive assistants, and line management to gather or convey relevant information.
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of wire requests, intercompany transfers, and certain reports and other deliverables of the department.
  • Performs a wide variety of miscellaneous duties as requested by the department’s executives.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an executive assistant position.
  • Requires intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
  • Exposure to sensitive information and must use considerable tact, diplomacy, and judgment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced/multi-tasking environment.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Requires a willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends.
  • Must be able to work proficiently with deadlines and disciplined to work without constant guidance and supervision.
