Job Description and Responsibilities:

Wynn and Encore Las Vegas feature two luxury hotel towers with a total of 4,750 spacious hotel rooms, suites and villas, approximately 192,000 square feet of casino space, 21 dining experiences featuring signature chefs and 11 bars, two award-winning spas, approximately 290,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, approximately 103,000 square feet of retail space as well as three nightclubs, a beach club and recreation and leisure facilities. In addition to two luxury retail esplanades, a Strip-front expansion, Wynn Plaza, is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2018.

Job Responsibilities :

The Wynn Theater Fluid Systems Department is responsible for overseeing all fluid systems activity, ensuring the care and maintenance of all hydraulics, water effects, atmospheric effects. for overseeing the Le Rêve pool water quality and for running show cues on a nightly basis. 

• Performs functions and duties as assigned, to assist the Fluid Systems team in establishing and maintaining the safe and consistent operations of all Fluid Systems for show rehearsals and performances. 
• Assists in monitoring and maintaining Le Reve pool water quality. 
• Operates the stage Fluid Systems devices and equipment either by performing show cue tracks or programming and operating the Fluid Systems control console for show rehearsals, performances and special events. 
• Performs installation and maintenance tasks on existing and new Fluid Systems equipment. 
• Assists in developing and performing regular and long-term inspections and maintenance schedules and procedures. 
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

 

Job Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience working as a Fluid Systems Technician for a large-scale theatrical production.
• Experience with a wide variety of modern fluid systems and fluid control systems as it pertains to installation use, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with a wide variety of fluid power equipment such as; proportional hydraulic valves.
• Hydraulic piston pumps, air compressors, water pumps and fluid control systems.
• Experience with Rexroth hydraulic oil equipment and PACO pumps is an asset.
• Must have knowledge of air, water and hydraulic oil fluid systems.
• Ability to withstand exposure to chlorinated water and swim with a level of comfort. Ability to wear and use personal respiratory protective equipment devices.
• Ability to be SCUBA certified.
• Ability, experience, and comfort in working at high elevations in theatrical environment.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Must be able to work around live birds, strobe lighting and smoke effects.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have OSHA 10 hour General Industry Safety and Health Card/Certification
