Job Description

The Wynn Theater Audio Department is responsible for overseeing all audio activity, ensuring the care and maintenance of all audio systems in Le Rêve and for running show cues on a nightly basis.

• Performs functions and duties as assigned to the Audio team in establishing and maintaining the safe and consistent operations of all audio systems for rehearsals and performances. 
• Maintains and troubleshoots audio, video, and communication systems and equipment while complying with OSHA regulations and Wynn Las Vegas safety procedures. 
• Operates the audio consoles and mix live audio for the rehearsals, trainings, performances, and special events. 
• Performs audio department cue tracks. 
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must have a minimum of four (4) years experience working for a large-scale theatrical or concert productions.
• Experience with a wide variety of modern sound technology and audio control systems as it pertains to operation, installation, use, and troubleshooting.
• Experience using equipment such as: Pro Tools, LCS, Meyer Systems, Media Matrix, Yamaha PM1D, BSS Soundweb, etc.
• Ability to master current and upcoming audio technology.
• Ability to become CPR/First Responder trained.
• Knowledge of OSHA health and safety protocols is an asset.
• Ability, experience, and comfort in working at high elevations in a theatrical environment.
• Must possess problem solving skills and strong interpersonal skills with proven talents in safety and teamwork.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Mac and PC based systems and MS Office software.
• Knowledge of BeOs, Linux, Mac, and Unix preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in electronic repairs and experience with video.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Must be able to work around live birds, strobe lighting and smoke effects.
• Ability to withstand exposure to chlorinated water and swim with a level of comfort.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have OSHA 10 hour General Industry Safety and Health Card/Certification
