As a Lead Kitchen worker you will be responsible for:
* The Lead Kitchen Worker is responsible for communicating with management.
* Leads the Kitchen worker staff.
* Responsible for washing, cleaning, and polishing equipment to ensure it is ready for use; sorting and cleaning dishes, silverware, glasses, utensils and ashtrays.
* Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.
* Will be responsible for completing any other duties assigned by the Department Management.
* Employees are expected to be prompt, present and prepared for all scheduled shifts.
* Must adhere to the Wynn Las Vegas Stewarding Department standards.
* Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English.
* The ability to speak a second language is considered a plus.
* Previous experience in kitchen stewarding or in another physically demanding profession is preferred, but not required.
* Candidates must exhibit leadership skills and ability to guide employees.
* Requires the ability to work with chemicals and within a team environment.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times.
* Requires an age of 18 years or older.
