Job Description

The Lead (Gaming) Product Analyst role works within the IT Front of House Applications vertical. They will work closely with an IT Product Manager and Business Analysts to assist in gathering, collecting & documenting of business requirements for all assigned IT related projects as well as being capable of executing small scale IT projects from start to finish. This includes researching and analyzing data in support of business functions, process knowledge, and systems requirements. The Product Analyst is responsible for proactively reviewing and assisting in compiling business cases, complete with recommendations for improvements, configuration changes or new requirements for business processes with various IT software solutions. The Lead Product Analyst will work side by side with the Product Manager to assist in fostering a positive business stakeholder & vendor relationships. This individual will apply proven professional communication, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments and to assist in implementing system enhancements, replacements and develop new products as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be able to document existing business processes and create use cases in order to compare them to new and/or existing IT software capabilities and/or offer recommendations when needed.
  • Be able to present yourself in a professional manner with executive stakeholders, decision makers, systems owners, vendors and business users to explain and review business requirements and systems goals.
  • Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding.
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing or proposed processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging IT solutions to improve these processes.
  • Prototype new procedures, configurations or new IT software for the purpose of enhancing current business processes and operations.
  • Be able to assist business stakeholders with enabling new functionality or configurations in existing IT systems to provide improved and optimized user and guest experiences.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work up, down and across organizational levels.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in operating systems across the organization.
  • Be capable of leading small IT projects from discovery to closing.
  • Be capable of providing escalated support (tier 3/tier 4) to executive stakeholders when necessary.
  • Assist in preparing IT project budgets, cost-benefit & return on investment (ROI) analyses for proposed changes to aid management in making implementation decisions.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to assess current practices, identify opportunities for improvement, build consensus and drive the implementation of related changes.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ Years of work experience within a product or technology organization.
  • A solid understanding of project lifecycles, software development processes and general IT terminology.
  • Excellent research and problem solving skills with extensive practical knowledge of data analysis.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minor oversight.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • 21 Years of age or older.
  • A valid Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
