The SEM/SEO Manager will monitor and improve organic and paid PPC traffic. This role will play an integral part in helping to optimize copy for website pages, as well as guiding the web development team in implementing best practices. They will develop and continually refine the SEO, SEM and general PPC strategies to increase website traffic and conversion rates.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders including IT, content, and digital teams to ensure that all sites are built/optimized utilizing most current technical SEO best practices.
- Use creative tactics to develop link building strategy for multiple advisor practices.
- Proactively troubleshoot issues and provide in-depth and concise feedback to product and tech team for resolution and next steps.
- Support processes to educate web developers and other business stakeholders on technical SEO best practices and content optimization.
- Knowledge of Keyword research and on page optimization of keywords.
- Create campaigns that encompass multiple locations/geos and lines of business
- Demonstrate ability to create campaigns that are mapped through to conversion focused landing pages that are highly relevant and built at scale.
- Review and audit the site to drive changes that comply with best practices to improve crawlability
- Work closely with internal Digital Marketing team to ensure all SEO best practices are followed and executed.
- Prepare and communicate regular & ad hoc reporting on SEO performance.
- Provide in-depth optimization suggestions based on account performance.
- Stay up to date on the latest developments in SEO/PPC and trends.
SEM Responsibilities
- Executing tests, collecting and analyzing data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
- Tracking, reporting and analyzing website analytics, pay-per-click (PPC) initiatives and campaigns.
- Managing campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
- Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns.

- Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.

- Provide traffic and cost estimates for keywords, ad groups & campaigns.
