Job Description

The Wynn Resorts, Limited Corporate Accounting department is responsible for maintaining the books and records of corporate and other subsidiaries, companywide close and consolidation, external financial reporting, and stock-based compensation plan administration.

Candidate profile:

The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting is committed to ensuring our financial statements are complete, accurate, and compliant with all applicable standards.  Understands the importance of clear and concise documentation.  Willing to learn and take ownership of assigned areas.  Establishes and endorses the business objectives, ethics, and values of Wynn Resorts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Company’s SEC reporting process, including the preparation and filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, proxy statements, registration statements, and other forms as required.
  • Preparing key supporting workpapers used in SEC filings, environmental, social, & governance (ESG) reports, and other external reporting deliverables.
  • Preparing the overall electronic tie out binder underlying our audited financial statements.
  • Assisting with the preparation and filing of other domestic and foreign financial statements in compliance with credit agreements and regulatory, statutory, and other requirements.
  • Preparing journal entries related to the Wynn Resorts corporate ledger, including debt, equity, and other corporate accounts.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education and experience:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
    • A minimum of three years of experience in in the audit practice of a nationally recognized public accounting firm, or a minimum of five years of direct experience in SEC reporting, is required.
    • Excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills are required.
