The Spa Linen Runner is responsible for supporting and assisting the spa staff to service the spa and maintain the cleanliness of all spa rooms and back of house by ensuring adequate linen par levels based on business demands.
• Responsible for maintaining the Wynn & Forbes standards of service to guests and coworkers at all times.
• Knows and adheres to Wynn policies and procedures, embraces company culture and takes pride in the resort and amenities.
• Understands and well versed in the resort, hotel features and services including all outlets, hours of operation, activities and events available to guests.
• Maintains a positive, enthusiastic attitude while embracing the Wynn Resorts core values and promises, along with the spa’s culture and values.
• Ensures the Wynn standards of cleanliness and appearance for all department linen areas.
• Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.
• Looks for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments or leaders at all times.
• Solution oriented, avoiding conflict and gossip, stays on task and promotes teamwork.
• Awareness of guest experience at all times, smiles and makes eye contact and communicates professionally.
• Maintains the cleanliness and organization of linen storage areas.
• Accurately conducts monthly linen inventory along with providing Spa linen demands daily.
• Responsible for delivering and retrieving clean and soiled spa linen and robes to department along with retrieving and delivering clean and soiled linen to the linen dock.
• Responsible for maintaining and communicating par levels to leadership to ensure adequate linen based on business demand.
• Responsible for maintaining and counting spa linen ragouts to track monthly.
• Assist Spa leadership team in monthly linen ordering.
• Responsible for folding towels to department standards and delivering to department as needed.
• Attends required meetings and/or training classes and incorporates new knowledge gained into daily work practices.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Candidate must be able to work efficiently within a team environment and individually.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to push/pull linen carts and robe racks.
• Must be able to push/tug 70 lbs. and pull more than 600 lbs. Must be able to operate a tugger vehicle.
• Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
• Must have an open mind and willingness to learn new processes, concepts and ways of approaching guests and coworkers.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must be open to coaching and feedback to ensure growth and development.
• Must possess outstanding customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Candidate must be well groomed and professional.
• Must be able to communicate English with guests, management, and other employees to their understanding.
• Additional foreign language a plus.
• Must be available to work all shifts and days including opening and closing shifts. Will be required to adjust schedule based on business demands.
• Willingness to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
• Combination of education equivalent to graduation from high school (High school diploma) or any other combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
