As Assistant Executive Steward your role will include:

• The Assistant Executive Stewarding Manager is responsible for assisting the Executive Steward in managing staff and kitchens, training and scheduling staff, conducting daily inspections of facilities to ensure conformance with health and fire code regulations, planning, directing and overseeing the maintenance of kitchen areas and kitchen equipment, both stationary and portable, maintaining inventory and supplies necessary to support stewarding staff, coordinating stewarding needs with restaurant chefs, and all other duties as determined by the Executive Steward.

Job Requirements

• Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner. 2nd language a plus.
• Requires a minimum of 4 years prior stewarding management experience, preferably in a high-volume, luxury hotel/casino resort.
• Prior experience working in a Union a plus.
• Candidate must have knowledge of chemicals, personal protection equipment, and sanitation guidelines.
• The Candidate must have the ability to manage all aspects of the stewarding operation. • Requires the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
