Job Description

Encore Boston Harbor is a luxury global destination gaming resort that will feature 671 hotel rooms with sweeping views of the Boston skyline and Boston Harbor, ultra-premium spa, luxury retail, high-end dining, and state-of-the-art ballroom and meeting spaces. At a total cost of $2.5 billion, it is the largest private single-phase development in the history of the Commonwealth.  Situated on the waterfront along the Mystic River and connected to Boston Harbor, Encore Boston Harbor will include a six-acre park along the water that will feature a harborwalk, an events lawn, public viewing areas, ornate floral displays and retail and dining experiences that overlook the Encore Harbor Walk.

The Encore Boston Harbor Digital Producer & Content Specialist includes working as part of a team to coordinate and develop digital media across all digital channels, such as website content, digital campaigns, paid media banners, digital collateral etc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing the entire digital production process.



  • Ensures all Encore Boston Harbor core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
  • Participate in the execution of short-and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness; effects changes required for improvement. Identifies key drivers of success.
  • Actively contributes to the departmental performance, and the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental policies and procedures; records and reports.
  • Verifies that all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and controls property wide are enforced Encore the department.
  • Ensures department delivers and maintains a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction.
  • Manage digital updates and improvements across all digital channels / platforms through internal coordination with development teams, business owners and quality assurance teams.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with brand and digital teams, interdisciplinary teams, executive management, IT, designers, developers and writers
  • Liaise with external digital design and technology partners and internal partners including Brand Marketing for a variety of needs.
  • Must be able to quickly and accurately assess, and transition accordingly, priority of projects based on both direction from management and personal judgment.
  • Must have intermediate design skills and creative experience that parallel those of a webmaster, which qualifies their ability to supervise a multifaceted project. This includes a sound understanding of HTML, mobile responsive web design, CMS, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, web animation, Dreamweaver and Photoshop.
  • Responsible for administrative duties as needed.
  • Works on special projects as assigned by executive management.
  • Producing and publishing updates across all digital channels. Includes ability to execute daily digital content updates using content management systems and HTML/CSS. Digital channels include website, hotel room systems (DigiValet), electronic signage systems
  • Coordinate the creation/design of assets for website and marketing campaigns as needed
  • Maintain and organize digital library of assets
  • Identify outdated messaging and work with department leads to update content and copy
  • Creating mock-ups and designs for email templates and web pages using current industry best practices while working closely with marketing/creative departments to propose and deploy new interactive marketing strategies, production methods and design changes.
  • Conversion of email design files to html using responsive email best practices.
  • Use image and video editing software to optimize digital assets for the websites a plus
  • Collaborate with internal and external web development team and vendors to build and maintain.
  • Communication of project status and timelines.
  • Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.
  • Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.
  • Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.

Age, Gaming and Certifications:

21 years of age or above.

Will be required to obtain and maintain registration or a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to graphic design, digital production, marketing communications, IMC or web design
  • 3+ years of experience in integrated marketing, design and/or digital production role
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Results orientation with a premium on accurate, timely execution
  • Self-directed with strong project management and organizational skills
  • Prefer to have experience working within corporate style guides and brand systems
  • Prefer to have experience with Sitecore


Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus.  Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.

Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:

Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to decipher various reports and create and maintain reports upon request.

  • The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate. When on the property floor or some back of house areas, the noise level increases to loud. Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
