Wynn Resorts is the recipient of more Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Awards than any other independent hotel company in the world. Wynn Las Vegas opened on April 28, 2005 and was once again named the best resort in Nevada on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2018 “Gold List,” a title received for the tenth time. Wynn and Encore Las Vegas feature two luxury hotel towers with a total of 4,750 spacious hotel rooms, suites and villas, approximately 192,000 square feet of casino space, 21 dining experiences featuring signature chefs and 11 bars, two award-winning spas, approximately 290,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, approximately 103,000 square feet of retail space as well as three nightclubs, a beach club and recreation and leisure facilities. In addition to two luxury retail esplanades, a Strip-front expansion, Wynn Plaza, is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2018.

The Hotel Marketing Specialist will be responsible for working directly for the executive director of hotel marketing alongside the hotel marketing manager to assist with developing, implementing and analyzing partner marketing efforts for Wynn Las Vegas and Encore’s hotel sales teams. These advertising and marketing efforts will include, but are not limited to email, online, direct mail, collateral and special event initiatives.

This individual is articulate, organized and proactive, with a high-level of comfort working under tight deadlines. Qualified individuals will demonstrate a dedicated work ethic, proficiency in Excel (mandatory) and all other Microsoft programs. Proficiency using the internet to audit partner Web sites, strong project management skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and an understanding of marketing principles and production tactics. The hotel marketing specialist will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the executive director of hotel marketing, the hotel marketing specialist is responsible for coordinating wholesale partner marketing campaigns for online and offline programs. Oversee partner creative development, campaign execution, asset distribution, billing and budget tracking, campaign analysis and project management. This will include, but may not be limited to:

• Primary task is auditing and managing edits on all partner Web sites where Wynn and Encore have exposure. This includes wholesale and convention partners. Detailed follow-up skills are mandatory. 
• Editing campaign creative, supplying creative assets, and obtaining appropriate creative approvals.
• Managing promotional campaign deployments, analysis and reporting.
• Maintaining contact data of all partners.
• Processing billing and tracking partner payments.
• Manage relationship with creative vendors as project(s) require.
• Oversee in-house printing of sales collateral materials.
• Follow-up on all pending marketing deadlines for assigned clients.
• Maintain multiple status reports daily in Excel program.
• Maintain with other team members our asset library which includes, but not limited to: images, copy and videos and collateral in 17 languages.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate that you have minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in the following areas:
• Project ownership skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office platform with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
• Marketing, advertising and/or collateral print production experience
• Experience with Internet and/or Direct Marketing
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Travel or hospitality experience
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to embrace change
