Job Description

Wynn Resorts seeks to create a system of data, analysis and actions to better attract guests and scale the highly personalized services and experiences that top guests know Wynn resorts for, thereby driving greater loyalty and frequency while also selling more services through ever-increasing levels of personalization.

As Manager of Integration, you will work with the experienced team of engineers, business analysts, product managers and database and middleware developers to implement robust APIs and integrations supporting application development and vendor integrations.

Roles and responsibilities for the Manager of Integration:

• Oversee the design and development of high performing, scalable interfaces and integrations
• Manage development and technical teams - provide day to day direction, tasks and guidance to developers
• Manage the intake of work to ensure team workload is balanced
• Create and manage staffing plans to ensure initiatives have full resource coverage and resources are not overloaded
• Work with the business and 3rd party vendors to conceptualize and implement custom designs
• Translates business requirements into solutions using enterprise architecture design
• Assist with interviewing and onboarding employees & consultants
• Oversee a portfolio of integration projects and manage adherence to project SLAs
• Create and oversee a catalog of integrations & integration artifacts
• Seek and evaluate new technologies and ideas to improve application appearance and functionality
• Adapt technical solutions based on evolving business and industry best practice
• Ensures project / department milestones / goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
• Participate in scoping, estimating and risk management efforts
• Participate in peer code reviews and conduct code reviews at various stages in the development process
• Ensure team process to enter and track implementation information including work items, tasks and issue management in JIRA
• Maintain a thorough understanding of API protocols, designs and their core principles.

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications

• Extensive experience / knowledge of one or more commonly used Middleware platforms, (e.g. TIBCO, Mulesoft, node.js)
• Experience with messaging systems such as JMS, EMS, Kafka
• Experience with API gateway products such as ApiGee, Azure API Management, Kong
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD
• Experience with monitoring solutions and escalation processes
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman , SOAPUI and JMeter
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and SOAP services
• Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAUTH 2.0, SAML and OpenID Connect
• Experience with load balancing, disaster recovery, redundancy and highly available high performing design and implementation techniques
• Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management.
• Ability to evaluate and analyse programming logic coding problems and develop solutions within existing parameters
• 5+ years’ experience as a middleware or API Developer
• 3-5+ years of managing integration development work and team members
• Must be 21 years of age or older

EDUCATION & TRAINING
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline with an information technology focus or equivalent experience
