Job Description

The LOA Administrator is the Company’s FMLA/LOA expert and therefore works as a focal point for all FMLA and LOA questions.

Job Responsibilities:

*Responsible for facilitating and administering all LOA requests in employee database (PeopleSoft) to ensure accurate reporting of the number of employees on leave at any given time.
*Works in conjunction with Wynn’s leave administration service provider, BASIC, to maintain up-to-date records for employees utilizing BASIC to report any FMLA-related absences as well as any paperwork submitted to BASIC pertaining to a request for FMLA.
*Communicates directly to department managers the status of all leave requests and notifies them when an employee’s FMLA request has been denied so attendance points are assessed correctly and timely and when necessary, advises when to suspend pending investigation.
*Investigates potential FMLA abuse, identifies patterns of FMLA-related absenteeism, and recommends the appropriate action taken to resolve the matter.
