Job Description

The Patch Management Supervisor will report to the Vice President, Information Security and Chief Information Security Officer. 


The Patch Management Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance and implementation of Windows OS and third-party patches for the Information Technology department. They will provide subject matter proficiency in supporting the various tasks associated within established IT policies, procedures, standards and guidelines to ensure that IT Department’s systems and services address security threats, risks, and attacks directed toward Wynn's business operations, staff, customers, and business partners.  They will also, troubleshoot issues related to patch updates and master images for applications, and end-devices. The role is needed to oversee the delivery of patch updates and master images to ensure Wynn maintains the highest levels of security posture.


Roles and responsibilities for the Patch Management Supervisor

  • Serve as a lead technical role in IT Patch Management team under the Information Technology Department.
  • Work with IT leadership to develop strategies and plans to enforce security requirements and address identified security vulnerability affecting Microsoft products and services.
  • Collaborate with Information Security and Information Technology teams to develop remediation plans addressing identified vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with QA team for testing new patches and applications.
  • Acquire new approved baseline patches, hotfixes, critical updates and service packs of Microsoft and third-party’s produce for vulnerability assessment and remediation on timely basis.
  • Monitor daily or weekly reports and security logs for patches.
  • Participates in patch level reviews, as requested by internal or external auditors and IT Patch Management leadership.

Job Requirements


The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Excellent mentoring/leadership qualities.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving and trouble-shooting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with SCCM, Microsoft Deployment Tool Kit and PowerShell.
  • Capability of making decisions or recommendations regarding a data threat incident.
  • Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other network administration protocols.
  • Experience in planning and executing patch updates policies and standards development.
