As a Set Up Porter you role will include:

Job Responsibilities:

*Responsible for executing the preparation, setup, and teardown of banquet areas/meeting spaces, moving furniture and stage platforms, lifting heavy objects such as chairs, tables, and dance floor sections and pushing/pulling carts and all other duties as determined by the Director of Catering and Management.
*The Banquet Porter interacts with guest and maintains the cleanliness of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards & fire codes from the City of Nevada.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

*Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently, and comprehend and follow Banquet Event Orders and diagrams.
*Requires a minimum of one year work experience in banquet setup at a luxury, high volume property.
*Further experience in a guest contact position preferred, but not required.
*Requires the ability to work organized and within a team environment.
*Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times
