Job Description

The IRD Manager will manage the daily operations of In Room Dining. The Manager will coordinate a team of Sales Agents and team members to deliver a Forbes Five Star In Room experience to guests within strict timing guidelines as set by 3rd Party Hotel Rating partners. The function not only covers traditional meal formats, but also guest amenities and when necessary hospitality suite formats. The Restaurant Manager will also oversee the administrative functions of the department including scheduling, ordering, inventory, upkeep of all necessary logs and forms. The Manager will also work closely on training and development of the team which will include secret shopping and frequent blind evaluations. This includes, but is not limited to; the management of the department strategy and ensuring alignment with overall Wynn Las Vegas strategy; maximizing opportunities for departmental and company success; maintaining all Wynn Standards: and ensuring excellent guest and team member experience.

Job Responsibilities:

*The Restaurant Manager is responsible for operating the outlet efficiently within pre-established cost controls, managing, scheduling and training restaurant staff, monitoring staff performance, maintaining the department in accordance with Health Department standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction through application of outlet and Wynn Las Vegas service standards.

Job Requirements

*Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner. 2nd language a plus.
*Requires prior experience in Food & Beverage cost control and a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position in In-Room Dining in a similar resort setting.
*Candidate must have advanced knowledge of food, beverages and cost control.
*Candidate must exhibit strong motivational and developmental skills.
*Requires the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment.
*Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times.
*Applicants must be 21 years of age or above.
