Job Description

Wynn Resorts seeks to create a system of data, analysis and actions to better attract guests and scale the highly personalized services and experiences that top guests know Wynn resorts for, thereby driving greater loyalty and frequency while also selling more services through ever-increasing levels of personalization. 

As the Salesforce Architect, you will lead the design of technical architecture solutions to implement and embed the successful operation of the Salesforce Platform across our organization. The Salesforce Platform will span multiple technologies and include extensive integration and authentication.

You will articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture.

This will be a “ground up” development project so you will also help with managing the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale.

Roles and responsibilities for the Salesforce Architect:

  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop strategies to meet architecture/technology needs and improve organizational performance, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration and customization of complex environments. Drive architecture discussions and prepare all architecture documentation.
  • Drive and lead the Salesforce implementation with responsibility for the delivery of the architecture designs and solution strategy.
  • Work with clients and end users to gather, understand and define business requirements - develop user stories and to be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions to our clients.
  • Provide overall systems architecture expertise, direction of utilization of Salesforce features, recommendations for declarative vs programmatic vs AppExchange solutions.
  • Complete the configuration for user stories within Salesforce, AppExchange products or other cloud-based technologies
  • Collaborate with developers to test and verify solutions will meet the business requirements
  • Maintain overall responsibility for mobile application development and deployment
  • Develop and execute end to end integration and unit test cases
  • Participate in peer code reviews and conduct code reviews at various stages in the development process
  • Ensure team process to enter and track implementation information including work items, tasks and issue management in JIRA and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Author/manage release notes and implementation plans for each build for release to Quality Management team
  • Consult on application development projects to fit systems into the technical architecture.
  • Keep up to date on new and innovative thinking in the Salesforce space, evaluate potential value of the technology for use within the organization and share and educate the wider team.

Job Requirements


The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of (SFDC) systems implementation, development and architecture experience with an understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements in system functionality.
  • Platform knowledge: APEX programming, Lightning Components, VisualForce pages, Classes, Controllers, Triggers, Data Loader, AppExchange, Web Services, Components, Custom Objects, Workflows & Approvals, Dashboards, Reports, Analytic Snapshots, integrations etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to technical audiences, non-technical audiences, and senior management.
  • Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment, including development / staging / production (or similar) deployment cycles.
  • Excellent software architecture, design and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in developing mission critical applications using an Agile and Iterative approach.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Valid Nevada Gaming License is required and /or must be obtained before entering this position
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
