Job Description

As Chef - Sushi your role will include: 


*The Sushi Chef supports the Executive Chef and is responsible for supervising kitchen staff and working on all stations within the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and plating of all hot and cold foods to outlet standards with a focus on sushi, guiding & training culinary employees and maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards, and conducting product inventories

Job Requirements


*Candidates must be able to communicate English, read and follow recipes and explain food items to dinner guests.
*Requires 4 years experience in sushi preparation, including work in a sushi bar environment and 2 years in a supervisory role.
*Candidates must exhibit accurate knife skills, knowledge of sanitation, seafood handling, sushi and plate presentation.
*Requires the ability to work within a team environment.
*Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times
