Vice President of Human Resources

Encore Boston Harbor is searching for an accomplished leader with strong business acumen, creativity and influence to join the executive committee that leads Encore Boston Harbor.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative but fast-paced dynamic environment, exhibit a high level of emotional intelligence, strong coaching skills along with an exceptional ability to resolve complex issues. This position is responsible for the overall direction and administration of the human resource function in accordance with policies and standards, including: recruiting and employment, employee and labor relations, communications and employee services, team member training and development, regulatory compliance, compensation and benefits. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: leading the Human Resources team, setting department strategy and ensuring alignment with overall Encore Boston Harbor strategy; identifying and maximizing opportunities for departmental and company success; maintaining all Encore Standards; and ensuring an excellent candidate, guest, and team member experience.


Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience: 

Bachelor’s Degree or above in a related field or equivalent experience required.

Minimum 10 years of human resources experience, 7 years in a leadership role required.

Experience in organizations with a large number of employees and high levels of volume

Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

Candidate must have experience with planning and project management.

Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.

Extensive experience in union environments as well as non-union working environments.

Gaming experience preferred
